How it all started

The Journey to founding Holden & Kelly Law Group, PLLC began in the law library. Christian and Marializa were interested in many of the same classes, they joined the same study group, they studied Intellectual Property Law abroad in Croatia, and they studied for the Texas bar exam together. The foundation of their relationship was built upon shared interests and collaborating together to solve complex problems.

After completing law school, Christian embraced his adventurous nature and hit the road to gain dynamic experience and develop a network. Amidst his travels, Christian connected with business owners and leaders of organizations that were doing work that inspired him; he noted the areas where these people and organizations could use legal support and began building a service model to address the unmet needs.

Marializa learned the ins and outs of working at a law firm while practicing employment law and civil litigation in Fort Worth. In 2016, Marializa went to work at a public interest law firm in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. While in Cambodia, Marializa worked with legal and scientific experts to write Cambodia’s first Environment and Natural Resources code.
Christian ventured to join Marializa in Cambodia where they worked together on the code.


Working together on the other side of the world with just a laptop and cup of coffee showed Christian and Marializa that they had the potential to create something unique in the legal field.
Upon returning to the USA, Marializa made the tough choice to leave her position at the law firm and began working with Christian to build their professional dream – a purpose-driven law firm that offers integrative legal services to clients all over the world who are working to create their own impact in the world however big or small. In September 2017, Holden & Kelly Law Group, PLLC was officially born.

Our work is without borders. Our clients become friends. Our style is integrative and collaborative. Our approach is different and we embrace it.
